Sucker Punch.

Thanks Zach Snyder for messing with my head and leaving me slightly traumatized for a good day and a bit. Top marks go to him for making a movie that bends genres and at least attempts to defy stereotypes but unfortunately, for me, it felt like he’d taken a massive swing and just missed the bulls eye.

The delivery of the themes he was trying to explore (no easy feat) was poorly executed and came out at best contrived.

If you want a movie that will give you something to think about, Sucker punch is probably one to check out as it raises more questions than it answers. It’s not good, but hey, it is at least memorable.
